PDL Printer:
The printer to use for configuration, if the Output Format To PDL Via Printer is selected (must not be uniFLOW controlled and must not be used by another workflow element or device agent).
Allowed Input Extensions:
A comma separated list of file extensions which will be processed by this workflow element. The list is preset with "htm, html, txt, rtf, doc, docx, dot, xls, xlsx, ppt, pptx, gif, jpg, jpeg, png, tif, tiff, odt, ott, ods, ots, odp, otp, odg, otg" in a new created workflow element. If the list is emtpy all extensions will be accepted.

Description:

This workflow element converts the current job file to the configured "Output Format". If "Output Format" is set to "Via Printer To PDL" the configured "PDL Printer" is used for the conversion (e.g. to PS, if a PostScript (TM) driver is involved) otherwise the "PDL Printer" field can be left empty. This printer must not be controlled by uniFLOW.

hint

Technical hint: The OpenOffice.orgTM macro library "NTwareLib.ocx" has to be installed; normally done by uniFLOW installation and updater.

Technical hint: In rarely cases if using PDL printer and OpenOffice.org was terminated by uniFLOW because it was hanging temporary files can't be deleted by uniFLOW because they are in access of the spooler service. So it is recommended to observe uniFLOWs temp folder after system restart and remove such files (names starts with "OOC") by hand or batch job.

Supported Input Formats: Supported are all file formats which OpenOffice.org can load. As the input format and output format conversion is completely dependent on OpenOffice.org, NT-ware cannot give any warranty for any file format.
